My 13 year old daughter and I visited New York in July. We stopped to honor the memorials of lives lost on that terrible day 💔. We made sure to pay tribute to your dad for you ❤️

About 5 years ago I carried the badge with your father on it the first time I did the 9/11 stair climb. Every time I do it, I carry his badge and I think about him often. I look up to him for his bravery even though I didn't know him personally. He's truly made an impact on my life and I wish you and your family all the best 💕

The last time I was in NY was 2012 and I went to the memorial site the day after 9/11. I just remembered I had taken a few photos and I went back to look at them and out of the few I took, I just so happened to take a photo of your Dads name 🥹

Thank you, Fire Fighter Kenneth Joseph Marino 🥺 I truly will never forget him. I was in 8th grade when it happened and I watch the reading of the names every year since they started doing it. I recognize your dad’s name. I live in California and have never been to NYC but I’ll get there one day and pay my respects to your dad and his brothers.

I don't like making other peoples posts about myself however every year I watch the documentary the history channel did on Rescue 1 and 2 and think about those guys when I do my stair climb. They were the type of fire fighters I strive to be like every day I'm on shift.

I used to work at a fire station. I hope you know his memory lives on in EVERY fire station whether they knew him or not. Every year we would watch videos, do the stair climb and remember those who laid down their lives in the line of duty. May he rest in peace
