If you are splurging don’t get a prebuilt. Go there tell them your needs and they can use the microcenter in store only bundles to cut costs. You can also pay for their building service and they will get it done and you will have warranty on everything. Highly discourage a pre built if you have microcenter available to you

as long as it’s a prebuilt with a GPU that has at least 12 gb of VRAM and 32 gb of RAM. Those memory specs will last you easily past 5 years with any new game release.

micro center probably the only place that would be worth it the market to build is in a frustrating spot and I recently got the 5070ti power spec about 3 months ago and it was worth the hour drive they have great specs for the price

I think a prebuilt pc from microcenter is a great option. Idk why people are telling you otherwise. I have an IT degree and got a powerspec (it was even open-box) perfectly fine. They’re good, just be sure you’re getting enough RAM for the games you’re wanting to play, and be mindful of the graphics card, and CPU it has.

I bought a powerspec last Thanksgiving, the specs are always good on paper, their good computers, get the job done, but some of my components were really cheap, i guess thats what u should expect when u get the lowest price pretty much for a new prebuilt

never buy prebuilt unless there's a massive sale. even then immediately format the drive and reinstall

micro center employees are so nice and helpful!!! i gave them a list and this guy came back with a cart and said this is everything you need (he even gave me something cheaper with same specs to save some money on their bundled discount they do for building ur own) DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE!!!!

Go to logical increments dot com, buy your parts separately so you get a good deal, put it together yourself, its a fantastic experience do not buy prebuilts

I have a powerspec that was second hand. I upgraded just the PSU and it is the best thing ever. (Till I fried the motherboard cleaning it)

Someone who worked for microcenter here. Get the powerspec, its microcenters own prebuilt. It comes with a great warranty and they use genuinely good parts. Other prebuilts do make prebuilts look bad but powerspecs are pretty well picked.

Are you really gonna play it enough to justify the splurge? I have 2.5k sitting for a week, really think hard

Definitely worth it, but I'd stop by Costco as well to see if they may have any deals there first, I've seen some crazy deals on display models with the 5070s. Just ask the manager what's the best they could do if they still have a display model.
