Braids should not hurt or cause throbbing pain. If it’s painful take it out. I tell people this all the time. It will cause damage over time.

not being able to sleep correctly for almost a week after getting your hair done is not okay feeling your scalp burning as a sign to wash the relaxer of is not okay hearing a crunchy noise/reaping your hair off when detangling is not normal there is so many f ed up things thats not normalized it’s so sad

Never been me! When I was 8, my mom braided my hair for the first day of school. I woke up in the middle of the night, took them out, and dealt with her consequences later. I never played 😂
