So Expensive right! Also all I recommend this thing called home serve it’s like £5 a month at the moment and if you have plumbing issues all you have to do is pay a £30 excess and they will fix it for you. This helped me the other day. They have a boiler subscription too. Not tried this one yet!

OMG babe my husband just changed our locks himself it was literally 2 screws and the lock itself was £20. these locksmiths are theif!!! we had a new build and them service charges are a flipping joke!! but congratulations still on your new home

Louder for those at the back 🗣️💯 I had no idea scaffolding ALONE would set me back £2,500-3,000. I thought the first quote I got was ludicrous until I got 4 more stating the same 😳. God knows how proud of us homeowners I am; especially those of us who bought solo. We got this ✨ *silently screams 😅

Pros and cons to both. Renting means relying on landlord to fix things and they will use every excuse in the book even for small stuff. Also not to mention rent increases yearly if they fix something. Owning your home means you can actually make changes to a place and yes it means financial cost, but there’s no relying on someone else to get it sorted.

Listen, one thing about me. By force or by fire , I would have become a locksmith that day. Listen had to call one to get me in cause I forgot my keys. Do you know I learnt how to pick a lock then and there 🤣🤣🤣

Listen this is where YouTube comes in handy, I remember one time my shower broke, looked up videos for the exact make, model and problem. Ordered the piece I needed and watched the step by step video on how to do it. Was it tedious yes, did I cry every time I got it wrong yes 😩 but It was a day well spent learning and I saved P's 😁

I had a leak and I didn’t have running water for a week. It was on me to sort it but I know the council couldn’t have left me without water for 7 days lol

I didn’t have a sofa for over a year, I used to sit at the dining table and when I eventually bought the sofa, I was so used to sitting at the table I had to keep reminding myself to use the sofa😂
