😂 And THIS is where the PDRN marketing gets sneaky. Look closely at the name: “Lacto-PDRN 4%.”* That does not mean this contains 4% PDRN. The asterisk matters. The Ordinary says Lacto-PDRN™ is a biotechnology-derived complex made using Lactobacillus fermentation technology—it is not the salmon-derived PDRN that’s behind much of the medical/aesthetic PDRN research. The product contains 4% of that proprietary Lacto-PDRN complex, not 4% purified PDRN. Interestingly, The Ordinary is actually pretty explicit about this distinction and says its ingredient is vegan and different from conventional animal-derived PDRN. So this isn’t necessarily a bad $9.50 eye cream. But anyone reading “PDRN 4%” and thinking Holy shit, this has 400× the PDRN of that 0.01% COSRX product would be making the wrong comparison. 4% Lacto-PDRN complex ≠ 4% PDRN. At least The Ordinary put the damn asterisk there. 😂
