guess what your friendships and family relationships are also heavily dictated by politics lmao, politics quite literally IS everything because there is no mystic force of human relations or anything of that sort driving us, it's the conditions of the world we live in that change how we think, act and relate to other human beings(that is to say, the metaphysical and spiritual does not drive our lives because a lot of it is literally just not real in the first place), and politics influence the conditions surrounding you and your closest relationships. Think of this, for example, would you still be friends with a gay or black friend you currently have if we lived under a regime that heavily propagandized people to be homophobic and racist? I am talking worldwide conditions and worldviews resembling those that we had in the 1920s but continuing into the present year; What about a gay family member? consider for a second how people today are treated by their homophobic families and think about how you would treat them had you succumbed to decades of propaganda as most of them did, you would quickly realize that politics directly affects every single relationship you've had and will ever have.
