TOKYO VINYL TOUR 🇯🇵💯 Here are some of my favorite record stores in Tokyo and a few of the gems I found along the way. And honestly, I found even more that I didn’t even film because sometimes I was just too excited in the moment. 😭 📍MANHATTAN RECORDS Right in the middle of Shibuya and definitely worth a stop. Cool merch, clothing and a great selection of records, from new releases to a smaller used section where you can find some real hidden gems. 📍HMV RECORD SHOP With locations around Tokyo including Shibuya and Shinjuku, HMV is always worth checking out. A great mix of new and used records and somehow I always find something here that I haven’t seen anywhere else. 📍DISK UNION One of the biggest names for record digging in Tokyo and probably one of the best places to hunt for real treasures. Huge selections of used vinyl and multiple stores across different areas of the city. You could come back every day and probably find something new every single time. 📍RECOFAN Another great spot for digging with stores in places like Shibuya and Akihabara. Tons of genres, lots of used records and always a good chance of finding something unexpected. 📍TOWER RECORDS The one that probably needs no introduction. Tower Records Shibuya is an experience on its own. The focus is mostly on new releases, but don’t sleep on the used section either because I’ve found some gems there too. Seven floors of music, pop ups, merch and everything in between. You can easily spend hours in here.
