be careful..a lot of those smog places got caught doing illegal smogs and now are informants for the state referee.it was either loose their license or work for them

Take it to your mechanic to go over it.

put your stock intake and pvc hose on, it shouldn't be that hard. The state sends people with cars that have problems, usually the visual test, to see if the shops are following the rules. So unless the shop knows you, it will be hard to find one willing to lose their license over something so simple.
