That bearing will wear out again. Should have upgraded to a 14 bolt full floater.

Get an old t shirt, wrap it on the slide hammer and tie it with a good tale to it, and yank the shirt tail to move the hammer. Won’t kill your hands anymore, maybe some shoulder workout pain though.

I would have our green lock tire on that one, looked like maybe the race turned .Good insurance even it had not. If that new one went in without either freezing the bearing or heating the axle tube you may develop a problem.

Usually on the grease seal, it doesn’t wear, but you can just for good measure

As a ford tech, I do the same with axle seals on our cars. A very small amount of Motorcraft ta-29 around the edge and you’ll never have leaks from the outside of the seal.
