I’m a big Legion fan and I really liked this #1! Williamson has been talking about how he plans on canonizing all of the reboots of the legion (like he was doing before in his Superman run when he 💀 my favorite Brainy). If the new Legion fans want a rec from a big Legion fan, my favorite reboot was the Post-Zero Hour reboot (known to legion fans as just “the reboot”). It spans across Legionnaires and Legion of Super-Heroes back and forth in the 90’s and it rules!

As a LLLLOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time legion fan, this was the best first issue in a long time. I haven’t been this excited in a while. I also thought it was easily the best number one DC put out this week.

I’ve only read a few of the legion’s silver age stories and the Great Darkness Saga but I really liked this new issue Hayden Sherman’s art was great I love how his pages are layed out! It was solid time for someone like me who isn’t super familiar with the Legion but likes them very much!

I read it Friday and then reread it yesterday. so far I love the start of it. the muder mystery approach is a genius approach for the first issue and makes you question how can the team go forward and form without it's founder and financial supporter. The superheroes being outlawed because of their involvement In the Great Disaster is an interesting piece of DC lore addition and plot setup. plus making Matter Eating Lad, Brainiac 5's partner and protector was so awesome and cool. Most writers look at him as a joke but he his not. I love it.

I love this take so far!! I’ve loved the Legion ever since I stumbled across the tv show as kid but BendisBoot failed to catch my interest. I’m excited to see what this one has in store!

I liked it. I hope it’s a fresh new start and you don’t need to know 60 years of history going in. While I know much of the Legion lore, it has gotten so convoluted over the years with all the restarts. I’m really really hoping it leads to a legion movie or better yet I feel it would be better as a TV show (live action)
