honestly don't worry my kids use to call my dad around there age they will grow out of it and release just say not your dad that's my dad that's your grandad wouldn't deep it to much x

This is what my child does if I call my dad dad he repeats sometimes but I just correct him and say it’s grandad. He’s never seen his dad ever so knows no different. He’s does a grandad card on Father’s Day

My youngest says ‘I’ve got a grandad Jeff’ when a dad is mentioned because that’s his safe person who does the things a dad should do so when they’re spoken about he associates that with his grandad instead 🥰💙 it’s pretty special I think 🥹

because they hear yous call your dad obv dad they will just pick it up all my little cousins that go to my mums call her nana because thats what our kids say, plus he shows them the love a father should do ❤️

This happened to me my children started calling my dad dad and it was because he was the person who would always turn up the male figure they needed I didn’t redirect but for them they don’t know any different as that’s what feels normal to them 🥺🥺🥺

I’ve always called my grandad “dad” because I’ve never met my real dad - I started calling my grandad dad in the childhood and still do now nearly 30🥲😂x

Do not worry hun my 3 year old does this they no your his daughter u might be calling your dad dad which is totally normal so they just copying u and if he plays the father role then I think it’s beautiful ❤️❤️🥰🥰
