I only use bladders for a insulation system if I’m trekking or mountaineering in colder weather but this system is way better for normal hikes or warm weather

I have the Hardside Swig Rig, when the tube got mold I decided my M!GO bottle was sufficient. I will add my Gregory Deva 60 has the water bottle holder at the perfect angle so, that helps. PS, I did clean the tube but...screw that! 🤣🤷🏾♀️

I’m pretty sure people that say “it’s not that bad” don’t hike a lot or for very long. I switched to this method 2 years ago and I’ll never go back for backpacking. I still use a bladder while hiking though

I’ve had that for like a year, I much prefer my bladder, holds more water and most my bags have a special compartment for the bladder so I always find it fast
