Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, 43, received injections containing hyaluronic acid and lidocaine at a clinic in Bangkok in March. Reporting on the inquest states approximately 40 milliliters of filler were injected during the procedure. Afterward, Ubiribo and his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, went for a massage. He reportedly complained of chest pain and lost consciousness twice before being taken by ambulance to Sukhumvit Hospital. Ubiribo was initially conscious and able to communicate with medical personnel, but his condition deteriorated before doctors could complete additional testing. Physicians determined he had suffered a pulmonary embolism, a blockage of an artery in the lungs.
