Freeze milk flat 🧊 Lay storage bags flat while they freeze, then stand them upright like files once frozen. It saves a TON of freezer space. 2. Freeze smaller portions 🍼 Instead of filling every bag to the max, freeze smaller portions. Smaller amounts thaw faster and can help reduce wasted milk if baby doesn’t finish a bottle. 3. Remove excess air before sealing Gently press excess air out of the bag before sealing. This makes the bags flatter, easier to organize, and less bulky in the freezer. 4. Label EVERYTHING ✍️ Write the date + amount on each bag before freezing. Store the oldest milk toward the front so you naturally use first frozen, first used. 5. Use the “brick” method 🧱 Once your individual bags are frozen flat, group them by date in larger freezer bags or containers.
