I definitely think Muslim people need to acknowledge and accept that their child might be gay (whether they’re okay with it or not) and help their child navigate their life around it. That being said, this man was a grown adult, if his family wasn’t okay with him being gay, he could have left. He didn’t need to murder an autistic man because of his shame

I worked with Ismail he was such a smart, promising and beautiful young man with big hopes and dreams. We were all absolutely devastated when this happened last year. He had a wonderful mother so please no comments about her. May he RIEP we will not forget him 🕊️
