this is not advice, but my daughter has a lot of success with the new ello flip and sip. the top flips open to refill without having to take the lid off. just putting out another option someone with a disabled child has found very helpful and accessible

thats why I love my owala! I could never open my yeti waterbottle bc it was round but because the owala has that extra loop,im able to open it!

Would the regular owala In the smallest size be accessible ? The lid has a button to open and you can fill it though the top .

How do you fully clean it and avoid stuff growing in it ☹️I had a regular Owala and it molded over the course of a year cause I didn’t scrub the straw part with a pipe cleaner AND under the little grey airtight ring in the top which I struggle taking off. I’m unsure if the kids version has it or not to make it easier to clean

are you ever concerned that the kids bottle just isn't enough water for you? do you have a second one you fill up and take occasionally depending on your activity? I couldn't imagine using a kids cup simply bc the bottle I carry is a half gallon 😅

I love the Owala free sip because you can fill it through the big drink hole, without having to unscrew! And the lids are interchangeable for most of their bottles. Worked well for my mom when she had bad neuropathy in her hands, and works well for me when I’m lazy lmao

I never thought about all the different lids and dexterity they take to open till my kids started using water bottles instead of sippy cups and they simply didn’t have the coordination or dexterity to open some bottles effectively. It really shocked me how so many bottles require 2-3 steps to open and so much hand strength.

Ello pop is another good water bottle it's light and you don't even need to take the top off to refill it just push a button

I switched to the owala when I got nerve damage in my hand for similar reasons. It’s just the easiest to get the lid on and off and drinking out of it is also super easy. I like the handles on them for gripping better
