Our kitten hates closed doors! I read somewhere that cats don’t like closed doors because they don’t want to be left out so now when i hear her crying about a closed door i go open it lol

I live alone so unless there's someone round I have to go to the bathroom with the door open, closing it isn't worth the immediate screeching. Even if I'm not in there they seem personally offended by closed doors so I leave it permanently propped open, so they can see they're not missing anything. The only trouble is actually being in the bath, they tend to just run and dive in somehow without realising there's water in there, even if it's actively running so I have to shut them out, and it's awful, they scream the whole time, can't do anything in peace in this house

my one cat gets so upset if my husband and I want to actually sleep so we shut them out and he cries all night and I end up having to kick my husband out of the bed to be with him because he only loves his daddy.
