Chaotic Wonder :

Most early season apples don't store well. A pity because my favorite is Gravenstein which is an Aug/Sep apple. Empire later in season. Last year I discovered Snapdragon which are fantastic when you can find them. I'll have to look for Pixie Crunch. Housemates prefer Honeycrisp, even moreso Evercrisp. There are 5 orchards in my town.

I don't know the name but there's some between golden and green apples that are the perfect amount of sweet and tart for my taste, they are my favorite I will definitely try to find these too

mutsu apples, pink ladies, and snow apples are fantastic baking/eating apples. coming from someone who is a michigander and worked at a small town's farmer's market in the Orchard territories
