hey, I take the birth control pill, but i take it consistently / non-stop, no fake week of pills so I don't get a period. im really good at taking it and take it within the same couple hours every night theoretically I should never ovulate right? hence never getting pregnant ?

Makes me rlly sad that birth control is demonized tbh. It even made me feel scared using it when I went down that rabbit hole. But I also wish there was more education about your hormones while on birth control. When I saw your video on it, it helped a lot cause I wanted to know what my hormonal cycle was like on birth control. I felt scared figuring out my birth control wasn’t helping anymore after being on it for 2-3 years. I subconsciously stopped taking it and I thought it was just that I couldn’t remember. Turned out I just needed to try a different one (Yaz I’m trying) for pmdd and such. It is VERY scary to have to change birth control and thinking it could make things worse changing, but it’s sooo worth it to try. I was definitely scared thinking what if I feel messed up for 3 months and then have to try another for 3 months. It ended up being fine (just a little more money then my other birth control which suckkssss)

This is what I find frustrating about the HBC debate. Like all medication has side effects and the only major qualifiers when creating medication is that it can’t have more dangerous side effects than the thing it’s “curing/stopping”. And pregnancy can cause all the same side effects of hormonal birth control at a higher rate (like for blood clots the chance is less than 0.1% for HBC and less than 0.2% for a pregnancy). Which is why it’s so hard for pharma companies to create HBC for men since they don’t experience any of the side effects of pregnancy, so the drug would have to have no side effects

Birth control made my endo pain not existent. I am incredibly thankful for this. It triggered my insulin resistance tho... 🙄 But either way I am thankful to live without pain.

I’m ngl I’m not sure I’ve EVER experienced a single negative side effect from any of my bc pills! Maybe I’ve been on it so long that I don’t notice but even from switching from pill to pill I’ve never had any bad side effects

Girl, what if you’re having yunno wha and the condom slips off inside you but the base of it is mainly out. And the guy didn’t finish until a lil after it got stuck. So he didn’t finish inside but could’ve still had some at the head. Should I take a plan b?

birth control fucked (ME) up bad, the same thing is not a problem. any hormonal drug CAN have issues with any part of yourself. your hormones affect everything, that does not mean BC is bad, it just means it has the oppurtunity to do alot of shit, not that it always does alot of shit.
