@moosecalling101: Sometimes Less Is Better This incredible footage was sent in by a follower. At camp in Alaska, they were chopping firewood for the stove in their Arctic Oven tent and doing a little calling early in the morning and later in the evening. The camp sits on a knob overlooking a valley and lake, surrounded by heavy spruce and willows, so the sound travels a long way. The following day, this huge bull walked down the four-wheeler trail, taking the easiest path toward where the calling had taken place. He even stopped to look at the rack beside the four-wheeler from the moose they had already harvested. Sometimes you don’t need to overcall. Do a little calling, remain patient and let the bull make his way to you. Sometimes less is better. I want to thank my follower for sending us this footage never before seen till now.
