@dylanandrejczuk_: This has always been my favourite Lady Gaga song because, to me, it perfectly captures the very human struggle between darkness and light, virtue and vice, and the conflict between unhealthy attachment or addiction and knowing, deep down, what isn’t good for us. We all have a “Judas” in our lives — a person, a thing, a habit, or even a part of ourselves that we know isn’t good for us, yet somehow we still find ourselves drawn to it. The song explores the darkness that exists within all of us: our capacity for temptation, contradiction, and falling back into patterns we know we should leave behind. But I don’t think those things make us bad, evil, or damaged. They simply make us human — imperfect people on a journey towards greater self-worth, self-love, understanding, and growth. No one is perfect, and no one is entirely light. Perhaps we can only truly understand the light because we have also stood in the darkness. ❤️
