This makes me so emotional. I’m always terrified to get older and depend on other people to take care of me, especially being so independent. You are such a kind soul, it takes a strong person to do this job. It’s not easy to see older people in rapid decline and sometimes all alone :( thank you for all you do for the wonderful seniors, I’m sure they appreciate your kindness and presence so much!

I used to do Domiciliary Care and I used to work 7am -10pm. About 80 ish ours a week. I loved the job, and my clients began like extended family, but over time the grief got to hard. Its such a beautiful job though. You meet such incredible people

My mom is also PSW, and it can be an emotional rollercoaster. She loves the people she takes care of, but theres just so much heartbreaking news. I think anyone who works with elderly are very strong and deserve more recognition!❤️
