This is my first time making a base as an amateur animator, so please be kind and feel free to ask questions if you need any help following the guide! When making my original animation I referenced a guide by @On Zeron and still highly recommend checking out their original post as this is largely built off that one :) My guide exists only to provide beginner animators with some additional help— as there were some things that weren’t immediately obvious to me with the other guide that took some trial and error— and to introduce a new base that has more human proportions! Clarifying moment! When making your stretch frames, all you need to do is make a copy of Pose A and stretch it upwards slightly using the FREEFORM selection tool! You don’t need to stretch it too high, even a little stretch will help create that bounce effect you see! :) just be sure to use Freeform and not Uniform, as uniform will make the entire drawing larger instead of stretching. Example below!
