Not heretical at all, this is exactly what I struggle with as someone who’s in seminary school. Learning that you’re already made new, sanctified, holy, and righteous through Jesus is very hard to believe/practice in your daily life. As humans I think we believe that we have to earn what Jesus already gave us. Again, it may be easy to process, but I personally struggle to live this new life that Jesus has given me believing everything that he did for me because I focus so much on my effort or behavior. This video is just a reminder to change my mind and just accept my new identity, thank you brother!

This sounds nice, but belief without discipline will crumble. I understand your premise, we shouldn't be burdened with the process of sanctification. The doing of righteousness is God's spirit through you, but you have to make room for that. There will be intentional discipline involved in the process.

The issue is when people refuse to clarify that they are still prone to mess up. People with this theology typically have a good motive that sin is beatable but they also have this refusal to address moments where they fall short.
