Jocassee is the WORST when there’s a storm and there’s barely any warning. I almost capsized on my paddle board with my dog. It was 3’ swells and side swiping wind in a matter of seconds!

I live here.. 90% of boaters have zero business on this lake. 8-10 foot swells is normal during storms.

been there done that only once learned a valuable lesson 40 years ago and still to this day I hear thunder on that lake and its throttle down to the bank
