This man off guards her, gets overpowered at one point, pins her, just to get stingered, and no he was not toying with her, if he was he would’ve had a way more playful attitude, he was genuinely just being arrogant and not in the way of “yea ima just hold back” he was in the “I’m better then you so I’m gonna beat tf out of you” mindset. You can just tell by how Rodan attacks, when mothra hit Rodans beak bro buckled backed up got pissed off and bashed into her, otherwise proving atleast by that point he was not holding back or toying he wanted her dead and Mothra still came out on top cause she’s simply a better fighter and the stronger one

I think he was getting way to cocky, I mean if you were a bird and had a pinned down a bug you would think you were about to win. thats why he tried to go for the head instead of the must easier to hit torso.
