I would change that response just a little bit. I would say “when you hire me for this position, what 3 things would you like me to accomplish immediately?” Now you speak from a position of already seeing yourself in the job ready to go to work.😎

I haven't been on a interview in 20 yrs and after losing my Government job has been a task looking for employment all over again especially at my age I will.60 and starting over is a lot but I here for it. precisely why I've had soo many incompetent managers. Interviews focus on minor petty issues, and are incapable of asking questions that discover true critical-thinking, problem solving skills..

live this. is there a way to take this a step further? like a way to document/record their response so if in 1 yr youve done all that they said what success in role looks like but they fail to give a raise or try to switch up what they said 1 yr ago?
