I would let them chose, as long as your up to being able to juggle teaching them with the other Littles at home. Most importantly make sure they get enough socializing, I would usually have two days of library for education, reading, and socialize 🥰

I homeschooled my oldest from 4th grade alllll the way to graduation! He’s a social butterfly, has many friends. He’s very smart, just started college, has a full time job as an electrician. He’s very well mannered, and all around a great kid! Wouldn’t of changed a thing

Homeschooling my 4th child in her 11th year. Im not against public schools but I was feeling like it wasn’t serving her needs. Every kid is different and needs different things. We all just try to do whats best. Sometimes its public school, sometimes its homeschool. Two of my kids have been homeschooled off and on the other two went all the way through public school without issues.

We are very new to homeschooling but all for it! I think the kids socialize more outside of school. My daughter is 3.5 years old and shops/pays for her own things at the store. She orders for herself at fast food places, we do co-op meetings. We’re all over the place. So far, so good!

I was going to homeschool my kiddos but with the chaos of everything going on in my life right now it just doesn’t work for my mental health to homeschool them. Mama needs a break from them iykyk lol I will not hesitate to pull them if there is an issues though

I’m doing public because I do work full time but also I have 0 interest in homeschooling. I’m not against it at all though! I just simply don’t wanna. I know I wouldn’t enjoy it

I was homeschooled for 7 years I hated it but I also had a mom that wasn’t supportive, I was an 9 year old teaching my 4 year old sister what I knew while still learning myself

I was homeschooled as a child and tried Public in middle/highschool. Homeschool is certainly my preference as a parent based on my experiences and based on my children’s needs. I’m homeschooling this year and it’s going well. So many resources now! Socializing is not an issue!

yess did it with mine! my pldest started public school at 3rd grade my 2 middle at 2nd grade and my duaghter started kindergarten thus year but it was definitely nice to have that decision they tell me when ready and what they misss. I ALSO make it clear public school is a privilege they can always get pulled out and we can go back to home achool

I think that the choice for public school and homeschooling is different for everyone. That’s because everyone has a different experience with it. Plus each family has different reasons for why they decide which choice to pick. No one should be judged

We did the same and our daughter chose to high school. She hates it but we told her she has to at least try the rest of the year. If you need programs as they get older. I found CTC math is good, grass roots history, the good and the beautiful (Christian based) then there is a company that does really cool history magazines for kids and we did National Geographic magazines for kids as research topics. They loved homeschool and got ahead. Her teachers emailed me by how impressed she was able to converse and the knowledge she knew compared to other kids.

I’m going to homeschool my kids AND we go to my church Co Op once a week during the public school quarters for 3hrs. I had such a bad experience and got bullied so bad I don’t want that for my kids. And I don’t fully agree with some things the states are teaching. I’d like to be in control of what my kids learn

Homeschooling my daughter she's in the 6th grade and loving it! We are using the AOP book course. She is currently a full month ahead of regular public school and has agreed to continue on to the 7th grade if she completes the 6th before state schooling is out. We only do 3 subjects a day Mon-Thur, like A days and B days. Plenty of time for Jui-jitsu, Motor Cross, traveling and whatever else we choose to do. Also we're in TX so we are not required to check-in with the state.
