y'all so rude cs it literally says that they couldn't clean the last traces of their dog, meaning it ran off or died, have some sympathy because losing a loved companion can be very hard on ppl.

Death of a Moth :
The night before my dog with cancer was put down, she vomited on my bed. I couldn’t bring myself to be mad at her, and I couldn’t bear to clean it up. I ended up letting it sit there for a few days and when I finally cleaned it, I kept apologizing because it felt like I was erasing her. The vomit was a sign that she was existed, and I was scrubbing it all away like that meant nothing.

My cat died a few days ago and I can’t bring myself to clean her food plate or her litter box. The day she died she left a little poop on my floor and I just cannot force myself to pick it up. When she passed she got a little pee on my shirt. I can’t bring myself to put it in the washer. It’s like I’m erasing her. Somehow cleaning her last messes feels like getting rid of her.
