@178anatomy: WHY CAN ROLLING IN BED HURT ONE SIDE OF YOUR BACK? Turning in bed involves more than the lumbar spine. The pelvis rotates too, while the sacrum helps transfer load between the spine and both sides of the pelvis. If one side of the SI region becomes sensitive, even a small rolling movement can sometimes reproduce pain near the low back or upper buttock. That does not mean every case comes from the SI joint. Muscles, lumbar joints, discs, and nearby hip structures may also contribute depending on the pattern. The painful spot is only one clue. Follow how the load moves. #SIJoint #LowBackPain #Biomechanics #PhysicalTherapy
