Ford tried to play me too. I wanted an explorer, went in with a pre approval for way more than what the explorers were going. I didn’t tell them i was previously approved.They told me i wasnt approved and tried to sell me a used 2023. I told them nvm and went to the dealer down the street and got my car with no issues.

I’m a realtor well just say on the side spare time. Had the same thing happen, guy and gal call me and ask me to show them a house because the first agent they called just kept asking how you going to pay for it! I took the time, showed them the home, spent some time with them, then they told me, they had cash write up an offer! Boom house sold! And yes, my sellers and the buyers all good people, everyone got what they wanted.

I was 18 years old selling cars at Metro Ford on South Western Ave. (54 now) A gentleman came in and ALL THE SALESMEN ignored him because of the way he was dressed, scraggly beard, long messy hair. I asked if I could help him? He said… I need to special order a CROWN VICTORIA. Long story short, he had Gold bond credit and want police package because he hauled equipment for a major movie company! After that sale my boss told me to pick out a mustang for my demo!!!

my wife and I understand this all too well. We are 26 and 27, we both work very hard, have good jobs, and like and want nice vehicles. The amount of times I or we have been blown off by dealers in the past is crazy. it is also not just dealers but coworkers, "friends", neighbors etc. judging/assuming we can't afford things. We like cars and we like the nice ones. I luckily have a fantastic salesman at my Ford dealer that I have an awesome relationship with and he helps me out every time. Just upgraded my '25 Explorer ST to a '26 F-150 Lariat and it is loaded to the max and I absolutely love it. People need to stop concerning themselves about what they think others can or cannot afford and worry about their own business. Love the videos, Mike! I can never miss a single one lol
