@afrikanhairgod: Apologies to @Chizi Duru 🙏

darielshairjourney :

I have no idea as to what you are referring to, but I wish more people would take accountability and responsibility for their actions, regardless of the intent.

Sasha :

It is kind of you to apologize. You have great passion and knowledge for hair and hair health. Unfortunately while your commentary may not be malicious, your audience can be very rabid, mean, and unnecessarily hypercritical which creates an environment in your comments for harm to be done to someone you may not be intending any vitriol to go toward and create space for people to feel comfortable tearing her down. You’re not responsible for either but given this is not the first time it’s occurred (you speaking on a Black woman which opens her up to an undue amount of hate), it might be worth reconsidering your approach to what you comment on. Or having this conversation on an app like YouTube where people tend to be less hateful and weird.

Addy 🫶🏽 :

I didn’t even know that that video was about her but i think it’s honorable that u apologized

Shaterria :

This is why I follow you. Your beard is beautiful.

Summi254 :

The beard is fire! 🔥

Leah :

This is the first time you even said her name 😳 the comments made it bigger then what it had to be.

spiffyvibes :

i feel like you were just making an observation and educating viewers based on the public content she put out and her own admission that it was too soon to be getting braids. please continue to speak out and have these conversations, love your content, it’s needed💗

poohreallysheisty :

im blocked

Kay Brittany 🖤🇺🇸👑 :

💖💖 it was definitely misconstrued nonetheless I’m glad you came out with this statement because the comments were getting harmful from both audiences 💖💖
