Your property tax is based upon district not by state so whatever your referencing to the majority of proper taxes that are being increased by democratic, ran cities and counties. Yes, there are a few few republican counties that have been increased, but the majority have been increased by democratic ran, but everybody wants to change the narrative

Property tax is NOT a state tax. That's your local municipality city/county charging property tax. Texas does have a sales tax, but again, the local municipality city/county increase the sales tax.

Insurance here, especially in Harris county, is through the roof and seems to double every few years. It’s pricing us out of the state.

I’m from Louisiana and have been living in Texas for 10 years and it is definitely not cheaper. I rather pay the state tax than that property tax!!
