Sorry, from a medical standpoint, any sign of postpartum psychosis is a life-threatening emergency, not an outpatient trial-and-error situation. Doctors are taught that this condition carries an immediate risk of harm, which means the standard of care requires urgent inpatient hospitalization and constant monitoring. Instead of admitting her, her doctors kept her on outpatient care while aggressively stacking multiple heavy psychiatric medications. Leaving a rapidly destabilizing mother at home under those conditions was a failure by her healthcare providers and simply malpractice. 😣

This is a take I can get behind , I really feel like this case is terrible on a moral level but also just dangerous for women’s rights , a not guilty verdict would have set a precedent tht would push women’s rights back by maybe 30 years

Im 69. Schizophrenia is rampant in my family. grandma, father, 2 brothers, 2 sons, 1 grandson, 1 niece. Lived with it all my life. She was lucid when she googled how long it took to run errands she was sending husband on so she could delete her children. she was lucid when she told her husband kids are in the basement. She was lucid when she confesses to authorities. How the hell can anyone think she's not guilty due to mental illness.
