Try YouTube for a magic ring tutorial! I had the same issue and took a night off. Then YouTube and it was so helpful

Yeah sis that’s too much too soon. Start with a panel of the same stitch over and over until you get a good sense of your preferred grip and tension

Look up The Crochet Crowd on YouTube, that's how I learned years ago. Starting with amigurumi is brave though lol. Try just practicing basic stitches first.
