Dan Quayle got Tupac killed. If he hadn’t attacked Tupac, demanded he be censored, and thus attacked the first amendment, ruining Tupac’s contract with interscope Tupac wouldn’t have had to turn to death row records and Shuge Knight. He wouldn’t have been more involved in the bloods & crips feud that was boiling hot in the 90s. He wouldn’t have been as pronounced in the east and west coast beef. He probably wouldn’t have gotten killed and certainly not killed the way that he was murdered. Dan Quayle is and was an exceptionally stupid and empty politician for his day and if you ask me he served as something of a mold for what an empty headed, easily manipulated, fascist, errand-boy-for-global-markets world leader would be. But what always gets me is that if he wasn’t the useful idiot he was in the position he was given Tupac Shakur would probably still be alive.
