Just did an extensive study on this. The Holy Spirit showed me that it’s not about real estate and literal garments. It’s about investing in people by loving them and linen garments represents purity which is what a good wife / mother will teach her children about. It’s about covering the family with spiritual protection. She gets up early to pray for them. That’s the real work. Love covers. The Proverbs 31 woman teaches merchants how to prepare to be kings / priests by way of proper etiquette and a sleuth of other things.

She’s the economic engine of the household: land acquisition, textile production, trade, staff management. Her husband’s public honor at the gate is downstream of her competence, not independent of it. The text never frames her strength as a threat to order; it frames it as the source of it.

I always thought of the parts where it says SHE considers the field and buys it. She doesn’t ask for her husbands approvals. She is such an amazing woman that he husband trusts her entirely as well. They are such a good team they are both working together.

This is not preached enough. And it’s a question for all women , can you be a powerful woman and still submit to your husband? Submission is not an excuse to have nothing, it’s having everything and still gracefully being under someone’s son .. And humbly respecting a man .. even if he has less than you . 🤝 This is some powerful insight .. This needs to be preached more .. 😭😭
