The most upsetting part for me is the children. The innocent children who are ultimately the ones punished and left psychologically damaged. They are used as pawns against the other parent, or in my case, the other parent and his family walks away and never ever looks back. Selfishly no compassion, no hesitation, no financial support not even any acknowledgement of their existence, despite all my best effort’s. Heartbreaking to helplessly witness your child’s heart be broken by the very person who helped give them life. As parents at the end of the day, our disagreements are our responsibility, it has nothing to do with our children. Keep fighting Scott! I pray it all works out for you and your son. 🙏

I grew up being told my father didn’t give a 💩 about me, just last week my biological sister who he had 10 years after me - sent me this photo. I’m 43. I’ve gone 43 years never knowing he tried. Truth always come out.

I just raged on Facebook about it being Fathers Day and my sons ‘father’ not being in his life. We are here hurting too, the mums with sons who don’t have fathers who care.

Open an email account and write them emails so one day they read them. It will be like a diary to them. Don’t bag mum. But you can be open to how you feel. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. The kids will grow up and they may resent their mum one day!

I have two daughters with my ex husband. Today fell on "my weekend" He played golf this morning. Then as soon as he was back I dropped our daughters - and the gift I took them yesterday to buy, to him. They wouldn't be here without him. They are HALF him. Our shit is our shit. It has nothing to do with our children. Our marriage didn't work and that is NOT their fault. We always have and will continue to put the incredible people we created, first. They were made out of love at one point. I don't get how, that's so easy to forget?? Im sorry...
