I'd like to start off and say, first off, you're wrong. You don't take your child's money. Your bills are your responsibility. I am a single mother raising three children on my own. I don't get child support. My kids know this. We work within our means. yes, bills get tough, and money gets tight. I have yet to have a utility turned off. I may mention to my child, "Hey, I've got an issue paying this water bill or electric bill. Would you mind helping? I can give it back to you next paycheck." But I never take what is his or theirs.

So glad this said satire, I would have been angry. That’s his money. You’re supposed to make sure the electricity doesn’t get shut off, not him. You should pawn your own stuff.
