My ex got shot 5 times in the chest, while sitting in the back of the cop car, I BEGGED God out loud “Please save him God, please save him” at that exact moment, the cop said “did you hear that? They just said they found a heart beat and they’re taking him to surgery.” I knew God heard me. Unfortunately, he still died. I remember telling my dad “I knew God heard me, but he still let him die. Why would He do that? Why?” And what my dad said has always stuck with me: Just as there is a God, there is a devil. And they are constantly at war. Sometimes the devil wins, but that doesn’t mean God isnt there. Just know God fought hard for him, just as he did with my ex. And they are both rejoicing in his kingdom right now. My heart hurts for you and your babies. May God carry you through this time 🤍
