Canadians will fulfill every delivery contract that we have signed with American companies because we need to prove to the world that we are a reliable trading partner. Renewing those contracts could be costly negotiations for American companies, as in aluminum today. Our aluminum companies are signing long term delivery contracts with European nations at a premium, leaving American buyers needing to pay the $820/tonne premium on top of the 50% tariffs imposed by t-Rump.
