I stumbled across a video that mentioned a GitHub repo called screenshot-to-code, and the idea immediately caught my attention. So I decided to grab the project and actually test it out live with you guys, instead of just talking about it. Screenshot-to-code is an open-source tool that uses AI to turn a screenshot, mockup, Figma design, or even a screen recording into real, working front-end code. You can drop in an image and it'll generate a functional layout in HTML/CSS, React, Vue, Bootstrap, or a few other stacks — matching fonts, colors, and layout as closely as it can.
