I got this for me this summer as my first tattoo..I don't give two damns if someone else has one or not...it was my cathartic experience and tribute to help me deal with the passing of my late grandmother and my wife getting diagnosed and beating breast cancer...it's for ME, not anyone else

Yep. This even refers to my husband. He doesn’t have any and I truly could not care in the least. But then I started getting them and he doesn’t like it. Oh well. He knows that I don’t care that he doesn’t like it because it’s not his body and he has absolutely no say in what I put on it.

I think that's a bit of a generalization. Some people may judge others based on whether they have tattoos, but many of us simply don't care one way or the other. I don't have tattoos myself, but that doesn't mean I'm concerned about whether someone else does. It's a personal choice, and I think we're all better off respecting that without assuming how other people feel about it. 👍
