Wow. My grandma owned a home in Baldwin Hills. She recently sold it to some white folk which broke my heart. But I guess it’s me and my cousins’ fault for not getting our $ up to buy it from her.

My great uncle was the first black family to move into Baldwin Hills. They were in the LA Times and their home was photographed. Even though this is AI. We did live like this in real life.

The fact that ppl don't know that this area, Windsor Hills, Ladera Heights etc were BLACK areas. A lot of black folks still there. Don't sale.......

My mom was a housekeeper for over 40 years to two families that lived up on Ladera Heights. Both were doctors. Great family. The Cottles and The Montgomerys. Now there is only memories of them. I drive up there from time to time and wonder if their family still own those homes.

there was many black families that was able to have a nice soft life ,with both parents ,back then ,and many family today though hard work ,for their families. ❤️❤️❤️
