When they do this to me, I just do the same back, but silently and completely mute them. Then when they're trying to speak to me and I obviously can't hear them, they get frustrated and will ask the other person in the call with us why I'm ignoring them. Then I announce "oh my bad, I forgot I muted him, he was being really loud and kinda annoying" 🤷🏻♀️I can play that game too

ONLY time I do this is when either they are SCREAMING at the too of their lungs at a game that no one else in the call is playing with them, OR they have a shit ton of background noise like drilling or a machine (this happens frequently with one of our friends) or when they leave their mic unmuted when walking away and now I can hear every conversation in their house
