First and foremost, thank you for the appreciation. I don’t usually comment on posts because it’s something that I personally don’t like to do. The result is the judges’ opinion; there are certain factors that we cannot exactly understand, and we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. But I want all of you to think about this from my understanding. We often think about a placement, and people see coming in the Top 40, Top 12, etc. as the ultimate goal in a pageant. But honestly, being an ambassador for your own country, getting selected, is one part of the pageant, and the rest shows how you made a mark and how well you represent your country. Coming to a pageant like this is also a win. In my opinion, it’s a very diplomatic event rather than just a competition. That’s how I accept it. I know how everybody feels, but I’m more than confident to accept the result because it’s just a mark only. What I was dedicated to do was represent my country well. Also, fingers crossed for the future, and I will try to showcase our skills and build more and more relationships with the Miss World Organization so that we can get their support for our girls. And I promise I’m gonna do it for the country. 🙏🇱🇰

Hard work clearly isn't enough in international pageants anymore. Prathibha deserved at least a Top 40 spot, she gave it her all.
