PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE — if you ever witness something like this, DO NOT JUST STAND THERE AND FILM! You need to step in and question the person immediately: Who are you? Why are you catching this cat? What are you going to do with the cat? Where are you taking it? Which organisation are you from? At the same time, call the police and record the vehicle’s licence plate and all relevant details. You cannot simply watch an unidentified person catch a community cat and take it away without even knowing who they are or what they intend to do with the cat. PLEASE INTERVENE. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. PLEASE CALL THE POLICE. At the very least, you must find out why the cat is being taken away and where it is being taken to. There have been cases and concerns involving cats being taken for their meat, so we cannot simply assume that every unknown person catching a cat has harmless intentions. Please protect the cat first. Don’t just film and allow someone to take the cat away without questioning them.

UPDATE: It has now been confirmed that the cat was not taken away by the man. Thankfully, the cat managed to escape. However, we still hope everyone can stay alert and keep a lookout for this man, especially if you see him approaching or attempting to catch community cats. If you witness anything suspicious involving community animals, please take note of the details and report it to the relevant authorities if necessary. Please share this update so that more people in the community can stay vigilant and help keep our community cats safe. 🙏🐾

⚠️PLEASE HELP SHARE THIS POST URGENTLY! I would like to clarify that this video was NOT taken by me. I came across it on Facebook and I am only helping to share it. After watching the video, I felt extremely uncomfortable and worried about the cat. We do not know the full story, who this man is, why he was catching the cat, or where the cat was taken. Because there are so many unanswered questions, I feel that this video needs to be shared as widely as possible. 🙏 Please help share and spread the word. Hopefully someone may recognise the man, know where this happened, or have information about what actually took place. Most importantly, we hope to find out whether the cat is safe. Please keep sharing until we can get some answers. 🙏🐱
