As a female firefighter/paramedic, if it’s a casual hookup-then yes they will tell everyone. If it’s a serious relationship or going to be, then they won’t. But I find that to be true with most men!

One of the firefighters that would come into my ER thought I was cute and somehow the entire town in the town over squad knew and they started referencing me as his girl. Nothing ever happened between us, but like yes, they will tell everybody.

EMS/fire/police are the most dramatic people you’ll ever meet. And by that I mean, the gossip is always flowing. The whole department already knows y’all went on a date babe. One time, I helped my male medic stop off the truck and by next shift there was a rumor that we’d been sleeping together for months and I was pregnant.
