I think the app uses a bot similar to SimSimi or ChatScript, just more advanced ofcourse upon the rise of new AIs like ChatGPT. These older AIs worked by matching what you typed to a database of human written qna pairs. They didnt use advanced artificial intelligence or large language models, and instead relied entirely on crowdsourced input from their users. The sentences that don't correlate with what you say, the typos and lack of punctuation lead me to think this is the work of an older AI that trains primarily off of what people say to it and stores its data in rigid boxes, which wouldntnt let it answer such specific questions. I dont think it would even be possible for them to be a hacker and if so, the owner of the app would have to gather millions upon millions of hackers each governing every single chatbot. This kind of reminds me of the Talking Angela hacker theory where people believed the chat feature was actually a real person on the other end secretly watching and responding. In rrealitu it was just a scripted bot pulling from a fixed set of responses. The same logic applies here, what looks like a hacker is probably just a simple matching algorithm and definitelynot any hackers
