@hustlersnthehood: Ethan Pritchard walked Florida State onto the field this weekend. A year ago the doctors were not sure he would wake up. He was 18, a freshman linebacker, one day removed from FSU beating Alabama. He was driving his aunt and a little one home from a family gathering when somebody shot up the car. The bullet hit him in the back of his head. Police say it was mistaken identity and that he wasn't doing a thing wrong. Four people were arrested and charged. Then 45 days in a coma. When he woke up, the work was not football. It was learning to crawl again. Learning to roll over. Getting muscles to fire that had shut down while he was under. He left the hospital in a wheelchair in October and rang the bell out of rehab in November. Seven weeks ago he started at a training gym in Winter Park. He went from leaning on a walker to walk-jogging in one week. His father was told to stand back and let him get himself up off the floor. He still wears a brace on his leg. A prosthetics resident who used to play at FSU tracked down official Seminole sneakers and had them customized to fit the brace, and those are what he had on Saturday when he led his team out. Ethan is 19. He says he plans to play again. "Ain't nobody gonna feel sorry for you at the end of the day, so you just gotta keep pushing." #hustlersnthehood

❤️🙏This is truly a blessing and a miracle. God spared this young man’s life for a reason. What could have ended differently, God turned into another testimony. His life has purpose, his story isn’t over, and I believe God still has plans for him. When God has a purpose for your life, no situation can cancel it. 🙏🏽
